Notes on products and services
Coding: Refers to the vehicles immobiliser or anti
theft system. For parts where the vehicle is coded to the car you must
seek advice from us. In some cases we may need to see your unit first in order
to transfer the immobiliser code to a new unit. If you require our testing
service and in exceptional cases, we may ask for the vehicles key's or for you
to take the unit off the car while the ignition is still turned on (engine not
running) in order to bypass the immobiliser circuit inside the ECU so we can
test it fully.
Delivery: Delivery and
collection is available to anywhere in mainland UK and is a guaranteed next day
service before 5pm. Saturday and timed deliveries are also available at your
request. Please contact us for prices and details.
Testing: Testing is
available for all parts in our database. If you wish to send in a
unit for test, please download the fault
form and accompany it with your ECU or airflow. Even if your ECU part
number is not listed in the database we can very often offer a "one off
testing" facility. This means that if you have a part from a system type
that we have not come across before we may be able to test your unit if you can
leave it with us for a slightly longer period of time.
Try Before You
Buy: If you have a suspect ECU that is causing intermittent problems where
symptoms do not occur all the time, a standard test may not reveal the
fault. It may be possible to loan out a unit for you to try on the vehicle. You
will initially be charged the full cost of a new unit. If the replacement unit
does not cure the problem you can return it to and you will be refunded less a
test fee and carriage.
Pricing: The price of a new unit includes a full
one-year warranty.
