Blue Streak Electronics (BSE) was established in North America in 1987, and expanded into Europe by founding

Blue Streak Europe Limited in 1996

Blue Streak Europe Limited specializes in the test and remanufacture of engine management control units and air flow-sensing units the service is backed up with a technical support helpline free of charge to customers. Our “high tech” modern factory based near Nottingham, has its own research and development department enabling us to respond quickly to market demands, this department is also able think outside the box and carry out the test and repair of “ one off” units currently not available in our main range.

We offer an alternative to expensive replacements of engine management systems

Using our latest test equipment we can test a wide range of units of the most modern systems types including diesel ECU’s which require greater electrical power than previous petrol units.

We offer an “Own Unit Rebuild” service on your ECU. This process involves a comprehensive testing and rebuild process with failed and known failure components replaced. The unit is then reassembled in a cleaned and painted outer case and supplied with a 12 months guarantee

From 1994 ECUs have become immobilised offering an anti-theft mechanism for vehicles where keys are uniquely coded to the car’s ECU.  We can test and supply a wide range of these types of units using custom methods we have developed to extract and transfer these codes.  In some cases we can offer an immobiliser decode service in order to blank out the existing security codes inside your ECU so that they are ready to self learn the new code when fitted back to the car.

To exploit the growing air mass meter market, Blue Streak has developed a new air mass meter tester, this new tester is able to simulate full throttle loading and will provide more accurate diagnoses for a wide range of units

. . Our air mass meter testing equipment is cutting-edge and capable of accurately simulating the pressure in both large and small engines
